Eligibility Criteria For Abdul Kalam Scholarship

If you want to apply for APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship then you need to be meet the eligibility criteria. Your application will be rejected if you did not fulfill any condition.  

• Applicants’ ages lie between 17 to 30 years.
• Must have cleared either class 10th board or have obtained a UG degree.
• The applicants who have done their schooling must have a maximum age limit of 17 years. 
• International students can apply for this scholarship, must have offered for any UG program in the faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at the University of Sydney.
• One must have completed either an Australian year 12 qualification or should have an international senior secondary qualification equivalent to an ATAR minimum of 98  
• Students apply from minority backgrounds have annual income less than INR 8 lakh P/A
• Must be pursuing diploma courses from government /aided polytechnic on merit basis.
• Candidates from BPL will be given preference
• The applicants must be Indians working in India in different streams of engineering at reputed public-funded institutions.
• Must be having at least 5 years of service left at the parent organization as of the date of the fellowship awarded.
• Candidates applying for postdoctoral research must have obtained a Ph.D. degree within the past four years 
• Must be registered in the Ph.D. program in India and have conducted adequate research in relevant streams especially in the identification of resources in India and the US.

3) Abdul Kalam Summer Training Programme 2023-24

Abdul Kalam Scholarship training program is funded by AcSIR (Academy of Scientific and Innovating Research). Under this scholarship, summer training is provided to all bachelor and master degree holders from the science branch.

Basically, this is a 2-month training program. Under this applicants will work with top scientists of India and learn from their experiences and knowledge. Besides that, they will get Rs 2500 as a reward and 500Rs as a travel allowance.

But, this Kalam Scholarship is available only for 20 students. So, hurry and apply before the last date
