In this section, you will get step-by-step guidance on Maharashtra scholarship in two ways online and offline. To apply online follow the mentioned steps below -:

Step 1 -Online Registration

One can do UID and Non-UID registration

Through UID registration 

  • Visit the official website www.mahadbtmahait.gov.in
  • Click “New Registration”.
  • Fill your Aadhaar card details and verify it through a linked mobile number or Biometric.
  • Once the authentication is done then fill all the details and register.
  • Verify your email ID and password.
  • Login by details like username and password.
  • Save all the details.

Through Non-UID Registration 

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on “New Applicant Registration”.
  • Then click “No” and register by using Aadhaar card ID.
  • Fill all the mandatory details.
  • Verify your email and mobile number.
  • Create your login ID and then upload your photograph and other important documents.
  • Click on “Register” to complete all the procedure.

Step 2 – Login 

  • Login by clicking “ Applicant Login”
  • Enter the username and password.
  • In case if you forget the password you can click “Forget Password” to retreat.

Step 3- Updating Your Profile 

  • After login, fill all the important information attaching all the important documents.
  • Then submit your application form.

Step 4 – Checking your application status        

  • Click on  “Applied Scheme”.
  • If your application is being sorted then your status will be checked under “Scrutiny Application”.
  • The rejected application will be checked under “Rejected Applications”.

 

DBT Maharashtra Scholarship Offline Mode

  • Some schemes are also applied through the concerned department /school /college /university.
  • You are supposed to fill all the details and attach supporting documents to the form.
  • Submit your complete application to the concerned department after principal/dean verification if applied from school /college /university.

Eligibility Criteria Of Maharashtra Scholarship

Post Matric Scholarship to SBC Students
  • To get approval for Special Backward Class scholarship Maharashtra state you must be studying at post matriculation level.
  • Students engaged in a full-time job or repeating session are not eligible to apply.
  • One must have 75% attendance.
Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to SBC for SBC Student
  • Students studying at a post-matric level in government /government-aided colleges/universities.
  • Family income should not exceed Rs 8 lakh P/A
Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen
  • Wards and widows /wife of freedom fighters.
  • Must be a domicile holder of Maharashtra.
Vocational education Fee Reimbursement
  • Students who are enrolled in courses like Pharmacy, Engineering, MBA, MCA, Vaastu Shasta, etc.
  • The annual income of INR 2.5 lakh.
Jawaharlal Nehru University Scheme
  •  Students doing graduation/post-graduation from JNU can apply.
Govt. Of India Postmatric Scholarship for SC Students
  • Must have passed class 10th and pursuing studying in class 11th. Family income must less than 2.50 lac.
Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojana by Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj 
  • The scholarship is applicable to the students who are pursuing a professional, non-professional course.
  • Candidates must be from the general category. Annual Income should be less than INR 8 lakh.
