Every year the government distributes these awards to motivate youth between 15 to 29 years of age to work and succeed in the field of national development or social service. To encourage youngsters of India to develop a sense of responsibility among the community improving their personal attitude as a citizen of this country.

National Youth Award Application Form 2023
The official form of the national youth award 2023 available on mygov.in. Students can follow the below steps to fill and submit the online registration form.

- Fill all the details, and attach all your documents.
- Submit your application.
- Nomination /work with supporting documents must be sent in Hindi or English format.
- Documents must be uploaded for the period of 1/1/2017 to 31st /12/2019.
- Submission to be done through online mode only.

Eligibility Criteria
As one can apply as an individual or at the organization level, the eligibility criteria are different for both ways –
For Individual
- One must be a citizen of India.
- Must be between 15 to 29 years of age.
- He/she must have done extraordinary social work,.
- The award is for once in a lifetime.
- One who is involved with central/state government, PSUs/Universities, colleges/schools is not eligible to apply.
- One must make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated in terms of information.

For Organization
- Must be registered under Societies Act 1860 for the past three years or corresponding state act and have proper constitution and article association.
- Should be a nonprofit organization.
- Should not have discriminated against any person based on sex, religion, caste or creed.
- Must have shown extraordinary service involving youth.
- Must not have registered before for this award.

You must sign on white paper with black pen and can attach it with 140X60 pixels with a scanned image, not more than 20KB.
National Youth Award 2023 Last Date
30th July 2023 is the last date to apply to the awards. As mention above the organizations can also participate in these awards. So, all the eligible candidates and organizations can submit the form before the last date or deadline.
National Youth Award Benefit
- The number of awards under the individual category is 25 and under the youth, the organization category is 10.
- Will be presented Individual award, medal, certificate and INR 50,000
- Award for Voluntary Youth organization: Medal, Certificate & INR 2 lakh
- One will receive their award in their traditional attire.
Presentation of the Award
The awards will be presented through special ceremonies and dates announced on the official website every year. The awardees will be invited in person. They would be given TA/DA by AC- 2 tier return rail fare and arrangements for their stay would be made by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Differently, able awards holders will be treated with an escort. Awardees from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, North Eastern region which also includes Sikkim and J&K may be given airways both ways.
How to Select For National youth Awards 2023
The application will be screened out and the selection committee will be taking out the names of the awardees. The selection team will be comprised of eight members who will further scrutinize and finalize awardees’ names.
