1) Prime Minister & Scholarship Scheme For Wards Of States/Uts Police Personnel Martyred During Terror/Naxal Attacks

The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board (WARB), Ministry of Home Affairs is offering this scheme. The scholarship is open for the wards of state police personnel who are martyred during Naxal/Terror attacks. Must be pursuing professional courses like engineering, medicine, dental, veterinary, BBA, BCA, B.Pharm, B.Sc. (Nursing, agriculture, etc) MBA, MCA, etc. Must have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the last qualifying exam.  

Rewards: Under this scholarship selected students will be rewarded INR 3000 per month to INR 2,500 per month for boys.

2) Prime Minister NSP Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles

The scheme is offered by The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board (WARB), Ministry of Home Affairs offers the Prime Minister and Scholarship Scheme for Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles who died on duty or the ward of disable personnel during the service or be a ward of Ex CAPF & AR personnel who have received gallantry award or be a ward/widow of retired CAPF or AR personnel (below officer rank).

Rewards: INR 3000 per month for girl candidates and INR 2,500 per month for boys.

3) Post Matric Scholarship for Chandigarh OBC student

Post Matric Scholarship for Chandigarh OBC students is again offered by the department of education, Chandigarh administration. This endowment is especially for the OBC students who are studying at post matriculation level under the government of India scheme. The scheme is for permanent residents of Chandigarh with a family income of INR 1 lakh P/A from all the sources. The selected students will get maintenance allowance, readers’ charges for blind students, study tour charges /thesis typing, and annual book allowance even for distance courses.

4) Dadra Nagar Haveli Post Matric Scholarship to ST Students

The government of India is inviting all the eligible applications for ST community students who are domicile holders of UT Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The scholarship has supported the study of class 11th to postdoctoral level students. To apply one must belong to ST category having a family income less than 2 lakh P/A from all the sources.

Rewards: Selected students will get maintenance allowance from INR 550 to INR 1200 so that students can complete their studies without any hurdles.

5) SC, ST PG Scholarship For Pursuing Professional Courses

University Grants Commission (UGC) invites eligible students for the application PG Scholarship Scheme For SC/ST Students for Pursuing Professional Courses. The main aim of this scholarship is to offer financial assistance to the students at postgraduate level emphasizing professional courses. Applicants can take a professional course in the stream of engineering and Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc.

6) NSP Portal Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Technical Education To Specially Abled Students

AICTE has come forward for disseminating Saksham Scholarship Scheme for differently able students for technical education. This scheme emphasizing disable students with a minimum 40% disability and with a family income of INR 8 lakh P/A. The scheme carries reservations for SC/ST and OBCs between 7.5 % to 27%. The scheme can be applied for the students who are pursuing a degree/diploma technical course from AICTE University.

7) Pre Matric Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Needy Goa ST students (Class IX &X)

This scholarship is offered by The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. This scheme is for ST students of class 9^th and 10^th. Students who are domicile holders of Goa and belongs to ST category can apply. Students must be not getting any other Pre Matric Scholarship from any other organization. One must be pursuing their schooling from the government or central /state board of secondary education. Selected students will get variable rewards INR 350 per month to INR 1000 per annum. The scheme aims to provide financial support to the underprivileged sections of society.

8) Pre matric Scholarship for the Wards of LSDM/IOMC/Beedi/Cine workers

This scheme is also offered by Ministry of labour and Employment, Government of India for  the students of class 1^st to 10^th .The main aim of this scheme is to assure that children should not work in any hazardous environment. Family monthly income should not exceed more than 1 lakh P/A .Incase of Cine worker family income should not exceed INR 8000 to INR 1 lakh P/A.

Rewards: Students will receive INR 250 to INR 1400.

9) NSP Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities

Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities are offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of  India is organizing this scheme for the students of class 1^st till class 10^th. The emphasis has been given to the students of minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christian, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians/Parsis). Selected students will get INR 100 to INR 600 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students from class 1^st to 10^th.

10) Chandigarh Post Matric for SC Students

Govt of Punjab is inviting all the SC category students for Post Matric Scholarship for SC students. This scholarship is for the students who are studying in class 11th and above till the PG level. The main aim is to provide financial assistance to the students who are a permanent resident of Chandigarh and their family income should not be more than 2.5 lakh from all the sources.

Rewards: The selected students will get INR 1200 per month and others.

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India is offering the application for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Goa. 15) Centrally Sponsored Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC Students, Puducherry

This pre-matric scholarship is particularly for SC students who are in class 9^th and class 10^th. To apply for this scheme your family income should not be less than 2.50 lakh P/A. You must be a domicile holder of Puducherry studying in any recognized institution. The selected students will get financial support of INR 200 to INR 1000 P/A. Through this scholarship, needy school children of Puducherry will be able to complete their studies without any hassle.

16) Top Class Education Scheme for SC students

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is inviting eligible applications from for Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students. The scheme is open for the SC category students who are studying at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible one must complete 12^th from and have taken admission in a full-time course.
• Family income should not be more than 6 lakh p/a.

Rewards

The rewards include tuition fees and nonrefundable charges up to 2 lakh to 3.72 lakh P/A. It also includes living expenses INR 2,200 per month and Books and Stationary INR 3000 per annum. Also computer, laptop with a UPS printer of any good brand INR 45,000.

17) Degree and Diploma Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl

Pragati Scholarship Scheme is a government offered scholarship scheme organized by the all India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). This scholarship is especially for the girl candidates who are pursuing the first year of diploma/degree course from AICTE approved college /university. To apply family income should be 8 lakh married or non marries. Two girls per family are allowed. The main aim of this degree diploma scholarship is to empower women education in India.

18) Pre Matric Scholarship for Students with disabilities

The Department of Empowerment of persons with disabilities, the Government of India invites all the pre-matric scholarships for students with disabilities. The scheme initiates the educational support to the students of class 9^th to class 10^th who have more than 40% disabilities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be studying in a government school or any recognized school.
• Family income should not be more than 2.50 lakhs from all sources.

Benefits

19) Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Technical Education to Girls

Pragati Scholarship is an initiative of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE ). It is offered by MHRD which is implemented by AICTE. This scholarship scheme is for Technical Education for girl candidates only. Students must be pursuing a technical course approved by AICTE only. One has to have a family income of 8 lakh P/A and two girls from each family can apply.

Rewards

Selected students will get a reimbursement amount of INR 30,000 which includes purchasing of books/equipment/software/laptops/desktops/vehicles etc. , INR 30,000 for actual tuition fees paid. In addition to that students will get a contingency amount of INR 2000 per month.

20) Saksham Scholarship Scheme for Differently Abled Students

Saksham NSP Portal Scholarship Scheme for differently able students is offered by AICTE under the Saksham Scholarship scheme. The main aim of this scheme is to offer financial students who are differently able and are pursuing engineering-related courses. To participate one must have a 40% disability and their family income should be less than 8 lakhs per annum. One must have taken admission to the centralized admission process of either state or central government. Selected candidates will get INR 30,000 as tuition fees reimbursement and much more.
