Online  Application Procedure For Post Office Recruitment 2023

  4. Then enter all your personal details like  Full name, Father’s Name, Citizenship, Age, etc. Educational details and addresses in the online application without any spelling mistakes.
  5. After attaching all the required scanned documents click on Submit.
  6. At last Download the submitted copy of the application form and take a printout of it along with the copy of e-challan to proceed with the payment through any of the e-payment post offices.

 

Required Educational Qualification For Post Office Jobs

To Apply for Gramin Dak Sevak Posts: Applicants must have at least a 10th Board certificate with a minimum passing mark in Mathematics and English from any recognized Board of school education by the Government of India / Any State Governments /Union Territory.

To Apply for Postman and Mailguard post-The contestants must have cleared at least 10th/ SSC/ matriculation exam from a government-approved state /Central educational Board of Institute.

To apply for Multi Tasking Staffs Post (MTS) – Applicants must have passed the 10th Board Examination or ITI from a recognized Board or University.

For Car Driver Posts –  Applicants must have passed 10th standard from any recognized Board or Institute also have a valid Driving Licence for light and heavyweight vehicles.

To Apply for Sorting Assistants (SA) / Postal Assistant and Other Posts – All the aspirants for this post must have completed their 12th/Diploma/Graduation/Bachelor’s Degree or any equivalent qualifications from any recognized University or Recognised Institutes for respective posts.

 

Age Limitation

For Gramin Dak Sevak – Minimum 18 and maximum 40 years of age candidates are eligible to apply for the Post as on cutoff date to apply online application. 

for Multi Tasking Staffs Post (MTS)-  Applicants must not be less than 18 years and more than 25 years.

for Postman and Mail guard posts and Sorting Assistants (SA) / Postal Assistant and Other Posts – Contestant must have their age between 18 years to 27 years.

Again, Relaxation in the age limit is available only for the reserved category by complying with the guidelines of Central Government Reservation Rules and Regulations.

Relaxation available for OBC Category is 3 Years and for the candidates belong to SC and ST Category are relaxed with 05 years, For PH Category the relaxation is for 10  years.

Also, there is a relaxation provision for EX Serviceman according to the rules provided by the Government Of India. 

For those who belong to the Economically Weaker Sections, there will be no relaxation for the upper age limit.

 

Pay Scale For the Post Office Jobs 2023

Postman and Mail guard post – All those selected candidates for the post will be eligible to get an amount of Rs. 21,700/- to Rs. 69,100/- in Pay Matrix level -3 as per 07th CPC along with other benefits and allowances by the Department.

Multi-Tasking Staffs –  Selected Candidates will be paid a pay scale of Rs.18,000/- in Level -1 of Pay Matrix Level-3 as per 07th CPC along with allowances for MYS vacancies.

  • GDS BPM- Rs. 12000- 14,500/-
  • GDS ABPM/DAK SEVAK-  Rs. 10,0000- 12,000/-
  • GDS Packer- 2295-45-3695
  • GDS MD- 2665-50-4165

Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant – The PayScale will be 25,500 – 81,100 in Level 4 as per Matrix Plus admissible allowances.

Staff Car Driver- The Pay scale will be around 19,900 as per 7th CPC Level- 2.

Application Fees

There will be two types of Fees (1) Application Fees   (2) Examination Fees

Application Fees are mandatory for all the applicants who belong to any category to register their online application for recruitment. Which will be Rs.100/-.

Examination Fees –

  •  Rs 400   For GEN/EWS/ and OBC Male Quota Candidate.
  • RS 400    for Ex-Service Man(Oc and OBC Category)
  • NO Fee / Rs.000 for SC, ST, PH Candidates, and women category candidates.
