Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Tata Steel Millennium Scholarship, you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
- Sons/Daughters/Spouses of superannuated workers, existing workers and supervisors of the Tata Steel Company are eligible.
- Sons/Daughters/Spouses of workers and supervisors of Tata Steel who were transferred to the rolls of JUSCO are eligible.
- A certain percentage of seats (10%) are reserved for SC/ST candidates in each category of the scholarship scheme.
- General category students must have a minimum of 60% marks in their last qualifying examination, while SC/ST students require a minimum of 50% marks to be considered eligible for the scholarship.

Types of Tata Foundation Millennium Scholarship 2023
Category A Under Category A, scholarships are awarded to students who have gained admission through Joint Entrance Exams for B.Tech/Degree in Engineering at institutions like IITs, IT BHU, ISM Dhanbad, PGDM courses at IIMs, and XLRI (two years). Additionally, students pursuing MBBS (4.5 years) are also eligible, except for internship payment. Category A provides a total of 120 scholarships, with each recipient receiving an annual scholarship amount of Rs. 50,000.
Category B Category B scholarships do not consider postal courses for eligibility. Students who have secured admission in professional courses at designated institutions fall under this category. A total of 360 scholarships are awarded under Category B, out of which 240 scholarships are reserved for B category students. The annual scholarship amount for Category B recipients is Rs. 24,000.

- Integrated degree courses in Medicine or Engineering, including extension centers of BITS Pilani and BIT Mesra.
- Postgraduate studies in Engineering, Medicine, Computer Sciences, Business Management, Personnel Management, Agriculture Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Information Technology, B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Management.
- Diploma courses in any branch of Engineering.
- Degree or full-time diploma courses in HM & Catering and Fashion Technology.
- Five-year Degree course in Law, as well as five-year integrated courses in Law.
Institutions Eligible for Tata Steel Scholarship 2023
To be eligible for the Tata Steel Millennium Scholarship, you must be studying in institutions that meet the following criteria:
- Affiliated with a recognized University.
- Autonomous Institutions or deemed Universities with official recognition from bodies such as AICTE, which have an all-India competitive selection procedure.
- For studies in Hotel Management & Catering and Fashion Technology, eligible institutions include the campus of the National College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (N CHM & CT), as well as institutions of Catering Management set up by the Taj Group, the Oberoi Group, ITC Welcome Group, and ITDC Group of Hotels.

5 Top rank holders awarded Rs. 10,000 but they must be studied in RD Tata Technical Institute.No individual application is required for this category, as the institute will directly submit a list of meritorious students.
