List of WB Scholarship 2023-24
There are many scholarships that are running under this scheme which are as follows:
1) Swami Vivekananda MCM Scholarship for Minorities, West Bengal.
Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2023 invites all the under privilege minority students of West Bengal to pursue their higher studies. The website further can be accessible for online renewal applications of fresh candidates who received SVMCM Scholarship after passing the qualifying exam in this year. Students from class 11th to postgraduate level. The selected candidates will get amount from INR 12k to INR 60k P/A.

2) WB Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scheme
Bigyani Kanya Scholarship mainly focuses on girl child education after completing the 12th. The scholarship is offered to all the girl candidates who are Indian nationals and are studying in any Science /medicine /engineering institutes of West Bengal. The selected girl will be rewarded INR 2000 per month for five years.

3) West Bengal SC, OBC, ST Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC
This scheme is offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and is also running in Tripura state. This scheme is for the SC/ST/OBC students studying in class 11th to PG level. The scholarship aims to offer financial support for the education to the students whose annual income is INR 2 lakh to 2, 50,000 P/A in case of SC/ST category and 1 lakh in case of OBC category. Candidates will get INR 160 to INR 750 per month.

4) Pre-matric WB Scholarship for SC-ST Students
The government of West Bengal under the Backward Classes Welfare Department is offering this scholarship to the stud nets of class 9th and 10th. This scholarship is properly managed by the Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Government of India. The applicant’s family income should not be more than 2.5 lakh P/A. The students will be rewarded INR 150 per month to INR 1000 P/A (Adhoc grant).

One can apply in the mid of May for this scholarship.
5) Hind Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal
Hind Scholarship is offered by the Department of Higher Education, Science and Technology, and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal. The main of this scholarship is to encourage the Hindi language in non- Hindi speaking states like West Bengal. Students studying in Madhaymik, higher secondary, graduation, PG, or any equivalent degree course. Applicant must have Hindi as one of a subject in his/her last subject. The selected candidate will get INR 300 per month to INR 1000 per month.
